Parts Manager

Position Overview:

Ontario Hyundai is seeking a highly skilled Parts Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department. This role is vital for leading the parts team, ensuring accurate inventory control, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced dealership environment.

What You'll Do:

1. Inventory Management

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting and inventory control systems
  • Manage parts flow to support service department efficiency and shop productivity
  • Order parts that meet dealership and manufacturer cost, quality, and compliance standards
  • Manage parts back-orders, returns, and return-to-vendor processes

2. Revenue & Growth

  • Ensure profitability of the parts operation across retail, internal, and wholesale sales channels
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through improved processes and strategic objectives
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures

3. Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop the parts team with a focus on performance, efficiency, and customer service
  • Establish department objectives and key performance indicators
  • Work closely with the Service and Sales departments to maximize productivity, cross-selling, and customer satisfaction
  • Support dealership customer satisfaction goals and resolve escalated parts-related concerns

4. Customer Focus & Additional Duties

  • Ensure compliance with Hyundai policies, warranty procedures, and audit requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting using dealer management system
  • Perform additional duties as required to support to dealership’s success
