Position Overview:

At Ontario Hyundai, our Licensed (310S) Automotive Technicians are crucial for delivering quality workmanship and excellent service through performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect and diagnose any vehicle malfunctions or customer concerns, completing the required repairs with accuracy.
• Complete routine maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, front-end alignments, battery replacements, headlight/taillight installations, etc.).
• Work closely with Service Advisors to report on repair timelines or additional work required.
• Ensure all warranty repairs are completed as stated by the manufacturer and sufficient documentation exists to support the warranty claim.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to secure necessary components for completing work orders.
• Conduct road tests to confirm the quality of repair and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe work environment by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (i.e. safety glasses, footwear, etc.) and keeping the workspace clean.
• Stay current with ongoing training and certification updates.
• Follow health, safety, and hazardous waste procedures, ensuring compliance with Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and other applicable policies and procedures.
