Licensed Automotive Technician

Position Overview:

At Ontario Hyundai, the Licensed Automotive Technician is an essential member of the service team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. This role ensures that customer vehicles are serviced accurately, efficiently, and safely with exceptional attention to detail and comprehensive technical and mechanical expertise.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technology-based issues and complete repairs as outlined in repair orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission services, battery replacements, and headlight/taillight installations.
  • Work closely with Service Advisors and the parts department to provide clear and timely updates on repair status, provide updates on additional repairs needed or delays encountered, and verify parts availability.
